there are several shops, a Tourist Office, a Post Office, 3 supermarkets and plenty of restaurants. On Wednesday, is a fish market in the centre of the town. Shops are open during all the day on Saturdays and until 2 PM on Sundays. Bicycles can be rent at the railway station.
In St-James
there are Supermarkets, Restaurants and a tourist-office. On Mondays there is a market. In the neighbourhood is an American war cemetery.
In Avranches
there are Cinemas, some Antics-Shops, an Auction House. There is an Historical and Art Museum and also a Botanical Garden with a beautiful view on 'the bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel'. On Saturdays there is a market.
